City Heights
At a garden within a garden, Rich Macgurn and Valerie Camacho grow medicinal plants. The plants are harvested for herbal teas to soothe asthma symptoms and other common community health ailments.
The Remedy Community Medicine Garden provided a community space to learn about medicinal plants and herbal remedies, but discontinued as a community project in 2014. The space has since been redistributed as part of the community garden on the lot.
